the day started off noisily: 2 phone calls from Dom (thanks), 1 alarm clock and 1 mother screaming her lungs out. then i received good news with regards to the tuition job offer where i have to play computer/xbox360 games with the boy to stimulate his interest in chinese. what an attractive offer :)

i finally managed to drag my ass out of the house today to mug in the sch lib. productivity was extremely low either because i can't do FA for nuts or the atmosphere in the lib is equivalent to that of hell. or both. i know i'm screwed when everyone who asked me questions gave up asking me after a while hahaha. seriously, i'm more interested to know what's the difference between 'obliged' and 'obligated' than to know about bonds and dividends, which grace refuses to tell me after she wiki-ed it.

why is everyone in smu so bloody hardworking? can't they realise that its a fucking bell curve i.e. if EVERYONE MAKES AN EFFORT TO STUDY LESS THEY WILL STILL GET THE SAME GRADES. i mean, after studying for their entire lives don't they want to enjoy a least bit of varsity life? or is the option of staying in the lib with books staring in your faces more enticing?

i wished i studied harder in jc and not wc3/soccer so much and got myself better grades so i could go overseas. and i'd be having booze parties every night while idiots in smu are slogging their asses off everyday.
