there has been several break-ups happening around me recently. its rather saddening to see friends engulfed in misery and sorrow and there's nothing i can do about it. in fact, i can't even give good advice or consolation because i am no expert myself. having said that, i wish all these people speedy recovery and may new love find them soon.

today was spent on learning about agricultural and industrial revolutions, creative destruction and architectural innovation. the articles are surprisingly good reads. i am more knowledgeable from today's mugging than sitting in all the TWC classes combined. we had western food at the kopitiam beside 7-11 where we found bugs in and all over our food. we also saw people who looked like they didn't have any clothes on. then we headed back for more mugging/stop-and-staring at our favourite ang moh eye candy.

i also had a rather long talk with ____ this afternoon. i know i shouldn't be doing it but i can't find any good reason not to. it was a pretty casual and friendly conversation which then evolved into a myriad of emotions and memories. it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, perhaps this can continue in the future.
